A self-initiated publication celebrating Northampton’s shoemaking heritage, created with the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery using archival imagery and interviews. The design drew from traditional wingtip brogue patterns, shaping both layout and typography. A soft-touch lasercut cover echoed the perforations of classic brogues, giving the book a tactile, crafted finish. Awarded by the International Society of Typographic Designers for its concept, typography and material execution.
